Everything you need is already within you

Tomorrow is February 14th, a great day to remember to share the love with Valentine #1: yourself! Celebrate your strength, flexibility, and the beautiful journey you are on. Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up on your mat and for all the love and dedication you put into your practice.

Each breath you take is a reminder of your steadfast presence and devotion. Every pose you move into is a reminder of your power and potential. You are capable of amazing things, both on and off the mat. Allow your practice to be a reminder that love is not only found in relationships with others but also within yourself.

Remember, how you love yourself is how you teach others to love you. So, treat yourself the way you want to be treated. Not just on February 14th, but every day.

I'd toast to that!

This Wednesday, Feb 14, plan to visit Spring Creek Garden Center for our happy hour Yoga class! I plan to stay after to treat myself to a glass of wine, so there will be no 7pm class at the studio this Wednesday (2/14).

Come for the yoga & stay for the wine (or is it the other way around?) from 5:30 to 6:25 pm this Wednesday. As always, wine/beer/sparkles will be available for purchase for 30 minutes after class.

The class is $10 for a drop-in, or you can use a pass from your Hand Craft Yoga class pack. Monthly Hand Craft Yoga members will receive one free garden class pass per month and 50% off additional garden class passes.

Pre-registration is recommended but drop-ins are welcome. Let me know you're coming by clicking the button below:

Limited schedule next week!

Just a reminder, I will be out of town next week leading our first international yoga retreat in Guatemala! Thanks to Sharla and Abby, you will still have a few chances to practice yoga at the studio.

Here is the schedule:

Monday 2/19
12 - 1 pm Yoga w/ Sharla
*no 7 pm class*
*Tuesday no classes *
Wednesday 2/21
12 - 1 pm Yoga Basics w/ Sharla
*no 5:30 or 7 pm classes*
Thursday 2/22
2 - 3 pm Yoga w/ Abby
*no 5:30 pm class*

Please make sure you check in with your teacher when you come to class. They probably won’t know your name or if you have passes, so please plan to take a moment to sign in and introduce yourself. Thanks for your flexibility 🙏

And thank you for being part of our yoga community. Your dedication and presence inspire me daily. From my heart to yours, Namaste.

With love,

Monica

I've been pondering... This picture is from our studio pond after class this past Saturday. It had me thinking... Even though the same growing conditions seem to be present(same water to grow in, same exposure to light, same fish mingling around the stems beneath the surface), each lily has its own timeline to bloom. Our human experience is no different. From the way we move our bodies, to what we enjoy about a book, to simply living daily life...this one-size-fits-all looks different for...

I've been reflecting... Every so often, I take a walk through the garden of my mind to check on the plants I've been growing. I enjoy revisiting my old journals, newsletters, and notepads to refresh my memory on the ideas I was trying to cultivate. Today, I read a newsletter from last April where I announced plans for upcoming retreats. Just for fun, stroll down memory lane with me... I copied and pasted the content below: "I have officially planted the seed for 2 big ideas: First, a 3-4 day...
