A note from Winnie

This "Prayer for Healing" is one of my favorites in the book. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Winnie and I are so grateful to share it with you:

Just a reminder

With Thanksgiving upon us, we have a limited schedule this week! On Wednesday, November 22, we will have Noon class, but no 5:30pm garden class or 7pm studio class. And of course, there won't be any classes on Thursday, November 23.

I encourage you to get some yoga in anyway-- maybe some deep breathing to help you get centered, some side stretches to open up the torso, or happy baby to help you...release. You can bet your turkey I'll have my legs up the wall after that final helping of pie.

I challenge you...

To share a helpful yoga tip with a family member or friend. Suggest a restful "legs up the wall" moment for someone who has been on their feet all day.

Or perhaps offer a variation of happy baby(like lazy baby) to help someone who ate too much dairy to pass some gas. Considering that as a possible outcome, maybe give yourselves some privacy and try it in the other room?

Whatever you do, remember to breathe deeply and savor the moment. Happy Thanksgiving!
